Beau Woods is a security consultant in the Professional Services Organization at SecureWorks. His responsibilities include performing IT control audits, risk assessments, penetration testing, war-dialing, physical walkthroughs and social engineering as part of his efforts to improve overall client security. Beau has over four years of experience in the information technology field with three years dedicated to IT security. He is an expert in the areas of security system administration, incident response and identifying network security vulnerabilities. Prior to SecureWorks, Beau was an information security analyst at a large hospital in Atlanta, GA, where his responsibilities included managing day-to-day security operations, strategic planning, network security monitoring, patch management and other security tasks. Beau received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
