Bob Wedlock currently serves as the SVP-CIO of The Independent Bankers Bank (IBB). In this role he is responsible for overseeing the technology department and delivery channels that provide transactional processing services for over 300 southern-based community financial institutions throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.
During his 20-year career, Bob’s financial management experience and technical skills helped him to take advantage of current technology to deliver needed efficiencies for several financial institutions. His expertise includes complete bank system migrations due to mergers and acquisitions, new technology deployment conversions, implementation of cost-efficiency automation programs, and creation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Prior to his current position, Bob was a CIO- SVP for R G Crown Bank and First Federal Savings Bank. Bob graduated from Alvernia College with a Banking and Finance Degree. He also holds a degree in Network Administration and Microsoft Engineering Certifications. Bob and his family live in Clermont, FL. He enjoys staying active and participating in Ironman triathlons.
