George Hoenig is responsible for i365’s product development, product management, strategic alliances, and SaaS infrastructure operations. In this role, he oversees the company’s product strategy and development across of all i365’s product lines. George brings over 25 years of network, systems and storage management software experience including leadership positions in product management, strategy, research and development.
Previously at Seagate Software, George headed product management and product marketing for the $300 million family of BackupExec data protection products. After the merger with Veritas, he was responsible for Veritas’ storage foundation products. He subsequently transitioned to corporate development and then assumed responsibility for driving the company’s long term technology strategy as Vice President of the Advanced Technologies Group. Most recently, George co-founded shouldi, a SaaS provider of mobile and instant social advice services.
George holds a masters degree in management-operations research from Purdue University – Krannert School of Management.
