Kevin Carr

Kevin Carr has served as the Chief Information Officer for the Community Bank of Broward (CBB) for the last five years. Kevin has over 25 years of experience in Accounting, Banking, Disaster Planning/Recovery and IT. Prior to joining CBB, Kevin’s IT consulting firm, Contemporary Resources, Inc. specialized in installing servers and communication systems for the mega yacht industry throughout the US and Europe. Kevin’s banking experience includes serving as a former Senior Financial Analyst at Glendale Federal Bank and Controller of the Florida Association of the America Institute of Architects. He is also a member of several IT industry organizations including ISSA and ISACA and holds the Certified Hacking & Countermeasures Professional (CHCP) designation.

 

As one of the founders and President of the Bank Info-Security Group (BIG) Kevin saw the need to improve bank IT information sharing and educational opportunities. To further this goal, the BIG Conference & Expo, a technical resource for financial institution CIOs and IT professionals was born. The BIG Conference is also a product/services expo, designed to showcase the latest innovations in financial products and services from a wide variety of industry leaders.
