Marley Gray

Marley Gray currently serves as the Chief Technical Strategist for banking in Microsoft’s U.S. Financial Services Group. In this role, he is responsible for developing and communicating the company’s technology strategy to the market, as well as working with key banking customers to adopt Microsoft software.

Marley’s information technology career spans more than 18 years. He specializes in .NET development and architecture, platform strategy, competitive technologies and enterprise application integration – and is a strong advocate for creating superior user experiences by leveraging Microsoft technology. Prior to his current position, Marley was a founding member of the Developer and Platform Evangelism Team (DPE) and a development consultant for the U.S. Financial Services Group, providing proof-of-concept architectures to the largest financial services companies in the United States.

A regular speaker at Microsoft’s industry architect and developer events, Marley graduated from Appalachian State University in 1991 and is an avid reader and football fan. He currently lives in the Charlotte, N.C., area
