
Silka Gonzalez is the president and founder of Enterprise Risk Management. She founded the company in 1998 to provide high caliber and cost-effective information systems risk management services to a wide variety of local, national, and international organizations.
Experience
Silka has more than 20 years of experience in IT security and IT auditing. Prior to founding ERM, she was a consultant with Price Waterhouse, where she was a manager of IT and business services. In addition, she managed information systems audit and security functions at large corporations. Silka was Manager of Information Systems Auditing for Diageo PLC and Manager of Information Systems Security for American Bankers Insurance Group, which is now known as Assurant Solutions.

Silka holds numerous professional certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
She currently serves on the board of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) South Florida and is the past president of the Miami chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

In addition, she is a published author on current issues in IT security and IT auditing, including SAS 70 Reviews, E-Discovery, and Identity Theft. Most recently, Silka has been approached by several newspapers and magazines as a subject matter resource.
Silka is a faculty consultant for Florida International University and a coach for the University of Miami’s Entrepreneur Program. In 2009, she became part of South Florida Business Journal’s Inaugural Class of Most Influential Business Women.
